The Wheel invites you to join us in Virginia, Co. Cavan on Tuesday, 6 November at 6pm for a very special networking session focusing on how you can Spark Change In Your Community.

What do you think of when you hear the word ‘sustainability’? It’s safe to say that most people associate it with protecting the natural environment – ensuring that we use natural resources in such a way that future generations can also access them. Well, that’s part of it, but there’s more to it! The Wheel sees ‘sustainable’ communities as being economically thriving, environmentally healthy and socially resilient. And we know that Irish nonprofits are striving daily to become more sustainable and are actively working to make their communities better places to live.

We want to empower the doers in every community to spark change by signing up to the Spark Change Challenge and sharing their success stories with other communities.

At the event you will hear about innovative and creative initiatives that enhance and improve community resilience and find out how you can take the Spark Change Challenge. You will also get access to a range of tools to support you in your sustainability journey.

Hosted by Marjan Boers, The Wheel’s Local Representative for Cavan, Meath and Louth and led by Dr. Vincent Carragher and Johnny Sheehan, this special evening gathering will also serve as a fantastic way for you to connect and network with your local nonprofit colleagues.

So, register now for this free event. It’s taking place in the Virginia Show Grounds, The Showgrounds, Rahardrum, Virginia, Co. Cavan.
