Community Heritage Grant Scheme Open

Meath County Council, in association with the County Meath Heritage Forum, is pleased to announce the Community Heritage Grant Scheme 2018. The grant scheme is an action of the County Meath Heritage Plan 2015-2020 and the aim of the Scheme is to support community groups and organisations to undertake projects that will gather information, help to appropriately manage and promote an awareness and appreciation of our heritage.

Meath County Council encourages projects which relate to all aspects of our heritage including: monuments, archaeological objects, heritage objects, architectural heritage, flora, fauna, wildlife habitats, landscapes, genealogy, local history, geology, as well as heritage gardens and parks. Projects relating to local history and traditions, placenames, folklore, traditional crafts and skills and museums and archives will also be considered under the scheme.

Applications are available to download on http://www.meath.ie/CountyCouncil/Heritage/CommunityHeritageGrantScheme/ or for further information you can contact Meath County Council Heritage Office on 046 9097407 or email heritage@meathcoco.ie.

 The closing date for applications is on or before Monday 12th March 2018 at 4pm.

NOTE: Late applications will not be accepted
