Built Heritage Investment Scheme 2018 – Apply before January 31st Deadline

The Built Heritage Investment Scheme (BHIS) operated by the Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht (DCHG) will operate again in 2018 with a total of €2 million in funding nationally.

Meath County Council has received an allocation of €50,000 under this scheme and is inviting applications.

Priority will be given to small-scale, labour-intensive projects which should demonstrate a range of conservation skills and support the employment of skilled and experienced conservation professionals, craftspeople and tradespersons in the repair of the historic built environment.

The minimum level of funding awarded will be €2,500 up to a maximum of €15,000 per project. A minimum of 50% match funding is required.
